I've worked in documentary, television and corporate video for the past 30 years. Based in Queensland, Australia I've also worked out of Europe and South East Asia.When I'm not making my own films I freelance as a cameraman, sound-recordist, editor and fixer.I own and operate a range of gear from a Sony FS7 with a range of lenses, a GH5 kit, a full sound kit, plus lighting, drones and grip gear.

Documentary

2024 The Enigmatic Platypus Translocation of platypus to the Royal National Park.
2019 Snake Catcher of Bangkok Firemen are tasked to removing 37,000 snakes a year from Bangkok homes.
2014 Escape from Siberia Retracing my grandfathers escape form a WW1 POW camp in Siberia.
2013 Rockets to the Gods Rocket festival in Thailand.
2009 Jenny and her Bats Rescuing fruit bats in Far North Queensland.
2005 Still Croaking Protecting the endangered Green and Golden Bell Frog.
2003 Ted's Evolution Politics of scientific ideas, and challenging the Neo-Darwinian Evolutionary therory.(winner of the 2003 BANFF Rocky Award)
1994 Saltwater People Aboriginal culture and the sea.

Corporate & marketing

My corporate and marketing work is mostly as a cameraman, working with companies such as Australian Defense, Midori, Telstra, EDF France, The Law Book Company to name a few.
I'ev also worked on Community Service Announcements in Australia and the US and given workshops on the topic in Uzbekistan for UNESCO.

MOTION GRAPHICS

I use a range of tools to produce motion graphics and enhance corporate and educational videos; Cinema 4D, Blender, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Motion and others.

Photography

I've returned to analog photography, using a range of cameras from a Rolleiflex 2.8, a 6x17 Art Panorama and 35 mm Nikon. My current series is titled "On the Road", featuring roads of the Australian outback, as well as street photography.
